Friday was one of those near perfect Boston evenings. The temperature cooled to a beauteous seventy degrees with golden twilight. I went to my brother Matt's in Brighton, and we cooked out, then watched the Red Sox. I made a big roasted pepper salad with red, orange, and green bell peppers, jalapenos, lime juice and olive oil. It got quite pungent because Erin very enthusiastically helped with squeezing in the fresh limes.
